Numbers Game ("we," "our," or "us") is a self-improvement app that turns your goals into daily missions. Our website is getnumbersgame.com and our app is available on the Apple App Store (App ID: 6762708067).

• Send you important account notifications (never marketing without consent)
• Debug issues and improve app performance
• Conduct our monthly leaderboard prize draws

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure hosted on AWS in the us-east-1 (North Virginia) region. We implement the following security measures:

• All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS
• Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) — you can only access your own data
• Passwords are never stored in plain text — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth
• API keys and secrets are stored securely and never exposed to the client

While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@getnumbersgame.com.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correction — update inaccurate information in your profile
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export — request your data in a portable format
• Opt-out — opt out of non-essential communications at any time
• Withdraw consent — stop using the app and request data deletion

To exercise any of these rights, email support@getnumbersgame.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Deleting your account

You can request full account and data deletion by emailing support@getnumbersgame.com with the subject line "Delete my account." We will permanently delete all your data within 30 days. Note that community posts you made may be anonymised rather than deleted to preserve the integrity of community conversations.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account:

• Your profile, missions, journal entries, and coach conversations are deleted within 30 days
• Anonymised usage statistics (no personally identifiable information) may be retained for analytics
• Subscription and payment records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations

8. Children's Privacy

Numbers Game is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@getnumbersgame.com and we will delete it promptly.

9. Push Notifications

We may send push notifications to remind you to complete your daily missions or to alert you about important account activity. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's Settings app. Disabling notifications will not affect your account or data.

10. Community and Public Content

Content you post to the Numbers Game community feed (posts, wins, progress updates) is visible to other app users. Your display name may appear alongside your posts. Do not post information in the community that you would not want other users to see. If you delete your account, community posts will be anonymised.

11. Leaderboard and Prize Draws

If you appear on the monthly leaderboard or win a monthly prize draw, your display name and XP score may be visible to other community members. Prize winners may be announced in the app. If you win a prize, we will contact you via email to arrange delivery and may need to collect additional information (such as a mailing address) solely for prize fulfilment.

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
• Delete personal information we have collected
• Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data)
• Non-discrimination for exercising your rights

13. European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under GDPR:

• Legal basis: We process your data based on your consent (given when you create an account), contract performance (to provide the app service), and legitimate interests (to improve the app and prevent fraud)
• Data transfers: Your data is stored in the United States (AWS us-east-1). We rely on standard contractual clauses and Supabase's data processing agreements for international transfers
• Right to lodge a complaint: You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify you via email or an in-app notice for material changes. Your continued use of Numbers Game after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
